You are using the word competence in the wrong place. Even Viebrockhaus with their tent and the 3-month promise repeatedly have mold behind the kitchen furniture and bathroom mirrors… that has nothing to do with competence. Viebrockhaus is very competent. Maybe you should also speak from experience first ;)

Then I will speak from very recent experience. We moved in after almost exactly 5 months of construction time. The interior doors are still missing due to delivery problems, but that is secondary. The humidity in the rooms is between 50 and 60%. So it is quite possible to build a well-habitable house without mold problems in 6 months.

This is about a 6-month promised construction period, which the client refers to. If this is being beaten to death here, then I will give 2-3 more answers, but now it no longer has anything to do with the topic. I think it’s great if you have had good experiences with your builder. But so far, very few who praised much before have shown any construction defects here. You read about those in another forum. For me personally, it’s about floor plan designs and pointing out what to look out for, especially when you refer to something:

That is clear. But only with too high humidity. It was about your statement that 6 months of construction time would be unprofessional because of the drying time. And that is not the case with good planning by the general contractor. It could even have been done a bit faster.
