The terrace would have sun on 2/3 of it until 12 and sun on 2/3 of it from 3 pm onwards. Mainly the own house is in the shadow area of the neighbor.
Regarding the room layout, the kitchen and dining area are close to the terrace. Utility room and shower bathroom face the neighbor.
Maybe the whole thing also works with the house rotated by about 90°. That would have the advantage that the gable windows on the southwest side do not look directly at the neighbor’s wall.

Many thanks for the detailed drawing. I will discuss it again. Surely some good option can be found.
The only thing I don’t know, of course, is how much the house of the northern neighbor will still influence things. They haven’t built yet.
As for the eastern neighbor, I definitely know that it wouldn’t cause any problems. Because, as I said, they built staggered downwards due to the slope and completely on the outer side – away from us.
