If the client hasn't accidentally - which would be rare - drawn in an approval obstacle, then "copying" is the best thing that can happen to the draftsman. The client will most likely love their own nonsense.
Crumple up all drawings and start from scratch with an experienced planner.
With an already found (and contracted) implementer, I see little demand from experienced planners who are interested in this emergency mission - except maybe for a lot of pain money.
