Thank you very much for your numerous comments.
I will try to address everything step by step...
We have actually considered the idea of a chamber under the stairs.
This wouldn’t make the utility room any bigger, but it would provide a second small storage option.
The potentially "dark" hallway does worry me a bit, but I just hope that the large window at the stairs still brings brightness?!
Changing the stairs is rather not an option for us.
The windows in the bathroom are not arranged symmetrically, but this is rather secondary for us; we plan the house from the inside out.
We have an appointment at the design studio next week because I am still unsure about the arrangement of the fixtures and the windows.
The windows are floor-to-ceiling because we find them chic, but they are indeed quite daring...
I have also considered possibly enlarging the bathtub to 1.80 m; do you think that would be enough?
Accordingly, the windows would be somewhat narrower.
They are arranged to the right and left of the tub to prevent casting shadows on the mirror...
The variant with the "long, not floor-to-ceiling windows" interests me, could I see a picture of that?
Preferably "in real life."
For the bathtub, I had also thought about a half-free-standing one; what do you think about that?
Because this bulky one bothers me as well.
What do you think about the overall concept?
I think I can manage with a utility room that’s too small and a bathroom that’s too large.
Placing the utility room behind/next to the bathroom is an unusual but interesting approach; however, it would then be quite small... or am I misunderstanding something?
I can gladly draw a site plan tomorrow; what exactly are we looking for in terms of potential?
