I actually understand what and how you mean, but have no idea how it can be done better and our architect probably doesn't either?!
How can I take square meters from the bathroom without harming the ground floor?
We have considered pushing the dressing room further in, so the large children's room benefits from it, but that hardly takes any square meters from the bathroom either : (
Why do you find the arrangement of the objects unfortunate?
How did you solve the upper floor? You said your floor plan is very similar.
Do you also have a half-turn staircase? What dimensions do you have and what would you do differently?
I think the "problem" is that I don't have 160 sqm, but only 151 sqm of living/usable space.
