We have the TV between windows, no problem in the evening and during the day there would be roller shutters. Home theater speakers are placed right and left with an 8m distance and surround from 2.8m height, calibrated with the receiver. The speakers had to be new because of the room size. In the kitchen, I would place the cooktop on the right by the wall and leave the island empty as preparation, serving, chatting, and gathering point.

Wow!! You are right. I miscounted a box on my phone. Shame on me! I also see "need for clarification" here. But whatever: The first draft will be revised, and this will continue until everything fits. As long as the problem isn’t optimized, the draft isn’t mature! Further remarks: Ground floor - Sliding door to the kitchen is impractical. Opening it with your elbow like that doesn’t work. - The island with the wall panorama bothered me already in the first drafts: you look at the wall while cooking... or watching TV? I don’t believe anyone from the family will sit there to entertain the cook ;) A bar counter is simply not that comfortable. - Regarding the sofa corner: also check whether the tiny table meets your expectations. Otherwise, it will be quite tight between sofa and TV; behind the sofa there is free space (for crawling kids, who like that). - Personally, the long hallway would bother me, but you have to and can live with that if you want a closed kitchen. - The wardrobe would be too small for 4 people for me. Reasonably, one calculates 60 cm width per person... Upper floor - Switch shower and bathtub so you have peace when bathing. - Washbasin not opposite the window, since that casts shadows on you and you always have to turn on artificial light. - Bathtub also planned with the correct size and possibly with pedestals. Include concealed installations. Laundry room is great. Possibly the offices still need built-in closets for storage, otherwise it looks a bit sparse.

True! It doesn't give me a spacious impression now either. It's just a bunch of rooms...

It feels like a 150 sqm house because it is proportioned and structured like one. Of course, one could want a 150 sqm house to be a bit bigger, but then one wouldn’t just scale all widths by 1.125x for, e.g., 190 sqm (and even if you did, and the result still included tight spots, then you would have handled it poorly). If I were you, I would cautiously assume that I am not the only reason why I consider the architect helpful and useful. You can also continue to ignore the suggestion and probably agree with me later when you stand in the finished shell.

But that is also a very special arrangement, and the electronics in the receiver can't work magic.

We have basically decided on the second option from #34 - also because of a somewhat sensible arrangement of the speakers. However, we didn't care about a separable kitchen, so due to the openness, there is no shortage of space there. Furthermore, from a technical point of view, the axis sofa-TV parallel to the window is the only reasonable option, even if in my experience you rarely see that.

Our objective was to have home cinema, all-room radio, kitchen radio at the same time, with no room modes. Our box speakers with subwoofer failed to fill the all-room with 5m ceiling height with sound. Therefore, for home cinema, not only the 3m to the TV must be considered, but the entire room.
