A pantry almost as big as the kitchen? A cloakroom bigger than the WC? (if it’s just a toilet with a washbasin, that would be somewhat huge)
Somehow, I don’t quite like that.
Oh dear. RobsonMKK and I share the same opinion (sic!) – if that’s not a clear sign of a botched plan …
I would have preferred the extra 20 cm compared to the old plan to be added to the depth rather than the width, then the central wall could have been neatly placed under the ridge beam on all floors without trimming the stair exit.
The wall projection for the already generously sized WC lets you look at a wall edge from the front door, creates a narrow feeling in the hallway, and adds less than half a square meter to the living room.
Hopefully, the wall detail between garage and house is not meant seriously. The pantry is enough for two annual deliveries from the Bofrostman at once. However, the kitchen is too sparsely sized to eat there – the route to serve in the living area is like a pilgrimage.
What you want to build here does not look like a new building at any point in the floor plan in my opinion, but literally on every corner like a settlement house from the 1950s rebuilt in a tight corset. When it’s finished, all viewers will be full of praise for what the plasterer and painter made out of such an old box and pity you because building methods back then were so different and now, as a remodeler (surely due to statics, right?), you have to proceed so delicately.
No one who has ever dealt with architecture will consider that a new house.
But, so that I don’t
only complain: the dormer is properly constructed.
