I also have to say - nice floor plan, I really like it! Especially the study with garage entrance :top:

A little criticism: The children's/guest bathroom is not really close to the rooms, you have to walk across the whole hallway - I do like the en-suite master bathroom, though!

The exterior design, on the other hand, is not my taste - not that I wouldn’t want it as a neighbor, but it’s just not the dream I have in mind. But I don’t have to live in it anyway

I already thought about the "not-low-cost" area too - I’m afraid our plan would be somewhat cheaper due to budget... But we also don’t have a Benz parked in front of the garage *grin*

I just wanted to say again that it’s going to be a really beautiful house! This house simply calls for a wonderfully designed kitchen! As for the door between the kitchen and dining area, we also planned a 2.40m wide sliding door and now we are getting a normal double-winged style door with glass insert and muntins. I can definitely imagine that looking very chic in your house as well! Of course, assuming you have planned similar doors otherwise.

An interesting basis, what is not appealing: - the entrance area with a much too small wardrobe (per resident, even considering the closet at the garage access, there is still too little space left, where do the shoes go?) - hardly more fits into the storage room than into a closet, planned usage? - placing the laundry handling in the basement is not optimal in terms of walking distance - in the parent area, one sleeps very close to the wall, the other next to the traffic area to the bathroom, as a bonus there is direct participation in bathroom noises - the living room must be planned together with the intended cabinets and the stove builder, it still feels uncoordinated.

Thank you all already for the "likes", the comments and criticism. We have already taken up a few things. I will soon post the latest status.

: We will probably include the kitchen door.
/kiska: Yes, our architect gave us an indication yesterday for the door 2.40. approx. 7000-8000 euros.... that probably won't work. We will then see what we do..... if we plan the kitchen in parallel.

: Thanks. Yes, the children's bathroom is 4-5 meters away. But we don't find that so bad. Yes, exterior views are always a matter of taste....

@Kiska: Thanks! Yes, we will do that shortly. The idea with the double doors is not bad either.

: Thanks for the constructive feedback.
#Entrance area: Compared to the wardrobe, we have now enlarged it with a bench for putting on shoes and a wall mirror. The storage room is actually intended to function more as a second wardrobe (winter/summer clothes, things we don’t use every day, umbrellas... etc.). Additionally, cleaning supplies and/or a vacuum cleaner, etc. should possibly go in there. Maybe we will also put that in the garage storage area. Should we rather leave out the door from the storage room?
#Shoes/children’s clothes: Should largely go into the garage storage area.
#Laundry handling: Yes, it’s certainly not optimal in terms of distance. But since our buildable area is limited, we don’t want to sacrifice space upstairs for a utility room.
#Master bedroom: Yes, we still need to work on that... Thanks. How would you solve it? I don’t find bathroom noises so bad since there is a (solid) door in between.
#Living room: Yes, that still isn’t really thought through furniture-wise (and also the fireplace). Do you have any ideas?

Thank you very much!

Build yourselves a laundry chute. From the laundry room up through the small storage room and then between the gallery and the children's bathroom. That should work, right? You can then also plan flaps on both the ground floor and the upper floor. That would make the whole thing easier, I think...

I would keep the door to the small storage room. There are mostly things in there that one or the woman likes to "hide". If the door opens outward, it doesn't take up more space than without a door, and it is only there to be opened and closed, so it doesn't get in the way.

In the parents' wing, I would leave out the window on the left and place the bed against the wall. I would also completely separate the dressing room from the sleeping area with a wall.
