Good morning,
oh, exciting, already a few responses. This is working well here....
@Manu: Thanks for the idea with the doors (more central). I will have it drawn and see....
/Ypg: Oh, right, we should discuss the topic of "accessibility" again with the architect. There would probably only be one problem. We can no longer increase the exterior dimensions of the building. However, that would probably be necessary if we keep the garage airlock and want to fit wider doors there. But maybe he can manage it in the guest bathroom and office.
Yes, the elevations have not yet been revised and are not yet precisely coordinated with the floor plans, as we are still somewhat unsure in parts about whether, how, and how many windows we want. Keyword: light vs. heat vs. space for furniture. Yes, we have the TV in mind. We will probably position the fireplace a bit further north and place the TV between the fireplace and the south side. Another option would be to not install windows/doors completely on the south or west side, leaving a piece of wall for furniture (e.g., TV). What is your opinion?
Oh, by the way: the north side is the side with the front door, the south side is the living room side with the window front.
#Kitchen island/ kitchen planning: It probably makes sense to plan the kitchen before building the interior wall (between dining room and kitchen). Possibly a kitchen island can still be integrated usefully. I think we will actually forgo the table; instead, we are thinking of an even wider sliding door (2.40 m), which should disappear into the wall (4-element?). Goal: the kitchen should be closable (smells, but especially noise) and still mostly open so you can also look through from the kitchen to the living area.
: Thanks. Yes, it won’t be cheap either, more of an upper mid-range price.
@kbt09: Thanks for the important note about parallel kitchen planning. North/South --> see above.
Would you rather install a door instead of a west window in the kitchen to the terrace (south-west terrace)?
Many thanks and more suggestions are welcome....
