Feedback on our floor plan idea, small building window

Really a beautiful house! Since the topic of the garden also concerns me and I find your outdoor area extremely well done, may I ask in what budget range the garden was?

yes, it takes courage to build something like this in Germany, it looks very English to me, a dream house, beautiful, a house with corners and edges and rooms, very very beautiful. Typically English, the seating area is arranged around the fireplace, the focal point that gives the room character. In Germany, some fireplace is placed in the corner of the living room wall just because fireplaces are in fashion and it has to go somewhere, which I will never understand. In some cases, you have to be in the kitchen to even see it.

I also think it's great to sit in front of the fireplace, but most houses in [D] don't have 300 sqm, so there is usually no space for something like that, meaning an extra corner to sit in front of it is usually missing.

I see it like Lassemann, in my daughter's recently sold house, pictures of the living room I had already shown, not even that many square meters around the fireplace. Take this house plan , page 1, such a "campfire fireplace" like Lassemann's easily fits in there, but no one does that in DE, it's not modern, it has to be "bare and smooth." People prefer to put a metal fireplace in the living room corner. No idea why
