Just because AEG is no longer independent, that doesn't mean that everything sold under the brand is inferior. As far as I know, white goods under the brand are always Electrolux, and that is a major manufacturer that can produce very good appliances. In various research, I found out that AEG washing machines and dishwashers are even among the best. As for stoves and ovens, I unfortunately don't know, or only from the retailer's side, which is not necessarily impartial. Nevertheless, I will most likely order an AEG induction stove with integrated cooktop extractor for our new kitchen. The other brands are simply too expensive.

I still know AEG as "Unpack - Switch on - Doesn't work" ... and now those good times are supposed to be over

Stove oven is technically simple, no bearings, no moving parts, no pumps, so Gorenje. Their stoves and ovens last just as long as those from Miele.

However, the devices perform less – but that is more due to the person standing in front of them and using them. 300 degrees pizza setting is already cool with a pizza stone. Or the integrated core thermometer. Or pyrolysis. Or or or But it really has nothing to do with durability.

I had a free-standing stove from Gorenje for years and was very satisfied. It was one of the early induction devices, never had any issues.
Maybe that helps you.

Otherwise, it’s hard to get meaningful opinions on this. More so about brands, but about individual devices (except in the high-end segment) is hardly possible. Manufacturers have countless names for the same devices depending on where you buy them, precisely to make comparisons difficult, since different prices / special offers are often applied.

My personal opinion – so far I’ve had Siemens, Bosch, Gorenje, and Ikea devices. None of them have broken on me yet.
