People, especially craftsmen, who have a bad homepage (or none at all!!) are usually the best.
Because they don't need any advertising or external presentation...

How does the LCA actually work? We are doing the construction ourselves. Now I do not yet have all the offers from the trades. What if in the end the LCA does not fit? How or can something be compensated with more photovoltaics or other measures?

Everything was planned in advance by the energy consultant and the trades must adhere to it. We also do a lot of the work ourselves and contract out individually. It is also not relevant exactly what is installed (e.g. no specific heat pump or air conditioning) since the values are kept very general. We have to balance our air conditioning with the photovoltaics. The entire construction of the wall, floor slab, roof, etc. was much more detailed for us. The energy consultant calculated the components based on my wishes (e.g. I only wanted wood fiber insulation for the roof and walls or also glass foam gravel under the floor slab) and everything was then determined. I went to the companies with the data and received my offer based on the components.

Okay, that already helps me with the process. Thanks.
Now, assuming what the energy consultant specifies blows the costs so high that even the 0.01% KFW300 loan is no longer worthwhile. Then I have paid an energy consultant and still build according to KFW40 without KFW300 and have wasted the money for the energy consultant. That could definitely happen. What then?

Then you are out of luck and have to pay the energy consultant for his calculation.

You can also still tinker with the components; it doesn’t necessarily have to be changed directly. If your companies would already achieve KfW40 by standard and it is within your budget, the adjustments are rather minor. Cement screed, for example, has a different GWP value than anhydrite screed, plastic windows perform differently than windows with aluminum frames, etc.
