Hello, We are also planning a single-family house with a basement in solid construction and a granny flat, as it is a slight hillside plot. May I ask which brick you plan to use to meet the KFW standards? Background: I actually want to avoid external insulation and internally insulated bricks (e.g. Poroton T7) and according to my architect this can only be solved with the T8 (50cm wall thickness). Which actually makes the KFW subsidy relatively unattractive to me. Thanks in advance

Also solid construction on the slope. For us, with unfilled 42.5cm Poroton, no problem for KFW40.

I would definitely recommend ours from Ellzeee/Günzburg area, recommend, even though that was already 4 years ago. I searched for a long time, also because our project was not standard regarding heating, cooling, etc. In the local area, I only experienced reflexive shaking of heads at everything that was not standard. There it was exactly the opposite and good, although we built far away from there. It is simply a "real" engineering office. I'm not quite sure what the rules here allow or recommendation, certainly no links, I still know that.

We had a long journey with the topic, since we didn’t install a heat pump and eventually decided on air conditioning. We had a lot of trouble during the construction itself but that was one of the good experiences, especially because the owner himself mentioned innovative or simplifying perspectives in detailed conversations.
