You often manage to pique my interest with "Calculate, Measure, Scientific."
But unfortunately, the disappointment always follows when it ends up being just "It can be calculated," "It could be measured," "one could find scientific sources," but the real content is missing.
It therefore comes across as a trick to substantiate one's own decisions and opinions with terms, a popular approach in politics, but certainly not in science.

He is not entirely wrong; if you don’t get the unit subsidized by 2/3, profitability will be difficult. The problem is mostly that you simply can’t empty the storage from April to October overnight. My neighbor consumes, if things go well, 2-3kWh at night, but these are already recharged by half past seven in the morning during summer. You just can’t manage the cycles needed to become somewhat profitable. And in the dark season, you won’t fill the storage to benefit from it. If the numbers work out with 200-220 cycles, the unit is viable, but it’s just unfortunate when in reality you get a maximum of 100-120.

You simply can't achieve the cycles you need to become at least somewhat profitable.

The problem can easily be solved with an electric car ;)
