Why should a few bricks + roof cost so much? Sorry, but I find such a price unjustified. Where is the price/performance ratio there? You don't want to spend all your money on such a house..

Yes, I would have liked it to be cheaper as well. But it adds up from earthworks, masonry, concrete works, carpentry, cellar, garage, drainage, foundations.

But there is no helping it..

We are currently building, almost finished. And we added a few extras and are now at €230,000, but it won’t be much more than that...

I take back my mentioned praise for the community. However, there are a few exceptions. If I had listened to you, I would have mercilessly overfinanced or abandoned the project. Now, my roof is on, the rough installation is finished, the windows including [Raffstore] are installed. The plasterer with an offer is ready.... currently, including a super expensive architect (30k) and a super expensive structural engineer (7k), I am at 160k. Another 70k will be incurred, and then that's it. Ultimately, we built larger (150sqm) with a [WU-Keller], and our energy balance is 40% better than the energy-saving ordinance.

You asked if 200,000 would be enough? The answer was: no. The result today is: no. You are at 230,000, according to your own statement. If nothing else comes up, you will stick to it. If. How much was EL actually? In the original post, you listed almost everything up to the shell... did you take a sabbatical year and implement everything? Bavaria/BW or Saxony-Anhalt? Don't get me wrong, I am one of the few who do not go along with the amounts often mentioned here. But you are SO far below the average that it is either the proverbial exception to the rule or the information might not be complete...
