If you take a sabbatical year for house construction, shouldn't you then include the lost wages in the house construction costs?
Of course! That’s what I meant with my post. Depending on the salary, you can then add around 35k or more to the construction costs... plus x euros for small things that disappear in everyday life but are not “counted” (helper support, tools, small DIY store trips, etc.)
