The house construction forum is once again writing a GZSZ script story.

Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad if the bank “goes after” the house, by which I mean the two-family house of which one half belongs to the partner of the original poster. The house will be sold (in the best case) or foreclosed, the Schwäbisch Hall loan “settled,” and the former wife and her parents will look for a rental apartment. The shared house with the former wife of the partner of the original poster will always entail potential for conflict. Get rid of it, definitely. The problems will not stop.

Actually, it would probably be the best.

Whereas the ex-wife no longer lives at home but with her boyfriend.

By the way, Schwäbisch Hall would have shared the loan. Unfortunately, the ex-partner is not willing to sign it and says that the signature at the notary is just "pro forma" and not binding. She will not pay anything.

The conversation with the children was also not really successful. The oldest daughter now accuses her father of taking away her home. And she does not understand why there is maintenance for the youngest brother, but she comes away empty-handed.

It is simply futile.

Well, from 18 a child is legally an adult, but often it takes another 10 years for difficult topics. If they don’t understand that yet, it’s better to stay out of it.

Hard to say what one would do oneself, since I don’t know such situations. Maybe just carry it through consistently, stop paying the loan and see what happens?

Full throttle lawyer. Nothing else. The ex does whatever she wants. This must be stopped. Obtain a title, which is valid for 30 years and has serious consequences. Otherwise, it seems she cannot be dealt with.

Stupid question: but what exactly is a title?
