Here you can see more information about the house. Floor plan, site plan, etc. At the moment, the windows are being installed in a kind of silver-gray metallic. We find it stylish.
So far everything is great. The windows are in. The plastering will already start on Monday. *happy*
But purely in terms of style, it would also fit really well with you. I would then build a "1.5" storey with a 1.8m knee wall or so and a roof that is not too steep. I also imagine that would suit the house well. And you have a mix of saddlebags and hardly any slopes.
This is how we did it: 1.85m knee wall and 20* gable roof. At first, in my opinion, it looked a bit squat from certain viewing angles on the outside, but on the inside it doesn't become too tall despite the high knee wall. Additionally, strip windows fit into the attic on the eaves side. We would have preferred a flat roof, but it wasn't possible.
I have another option:
Starting point:
(1) Classic
- Gable roof with 35-45 degree roof pitch
- 1.5 stories
- 1.00-1.50 m knee wall
- Gable: vertical full-format windows
- Eaves: roof windows or dormers
(2) Town villa
- flat hipped roof with 25° roof pitch
- 2 stories
- vertical full-format windows everywhere
(3) New idea:
- flat gable roof with 25-35 degree roof pitch
- "1.75 stories"
- 1.80-2.60 m knee wall, attic studio fully built up to gable height
- Gable: vertical full-format windows
- Eaves: horizontal light strips under the eaves
