Buying guide for vinyl flooring for new construction

We also have rigid vinyl. We have also installed it in the bathroom. It works perfectly. As a test, we placed a piece in a bucket of water and left it there over the weekend. Nothing happened at all, so it is absolutely resistant to moisture/wetness. We have it with integrated impact sound insulation from Parador. So far, we are really very satisfied. Despite small children and cats. It has only been laid for 2 years, but so far everything is great!

how did you install the Rigid Vinyl in the bathroom? floating or glued?
only wet rooms like bathrooms have to be glued, right?

I have no experience with that, whether with or without. I myself bought without and will install impact sound insulation underneath when laying it.

Laid floating. I wouldn't know that it has to be glued. With rigid vinyl, it is also advertised that it can be laid floating in the bathroom.

ok I thought bathrooms always have to be glued.

I believe PVC-free ones are called differently, then it's called design flooring or bioboden.
