I had ordered several different sample pieces online. The Rigid was by far the one where you could see small scratches most clearly. Allegedly, however, it is suitable for extremely high stress :-( In the end, we bought everything at the Parador Outlet. We (my brother and I in both semi-detached houses) installed a total of about 200m² of click vinyl with a separate 1.5mm impact sound insulation. It's okay, but in the future I would decide against "plastic flooring" even in rental units.

We installed the DD400 from Meister and wanted to scratch/score it a bit with a carpet knife while laying it... no chance. Extremely hard.

Even now, after 2 years, no scratches (despite kitchen, hallway, "toddler-tested"). Our laminate, on the other hand, already has the first scratches.

why wouldn't you choose a plastic floor again?

Parquet, that is real wood, also has many disadvantages for us

Thanks for your recommendation, I will take a look at it and consider it as an option

I have looked into the types of vinyl again

Vinyl on an MDF or HDF carrier board is the worst option

The solid vinyl is already very good and can be installed floating or glued.

The rigid vinyl is supposedly the best, it is said to have improved solid vinyl even further

With rigid vinyl, the click connections are supposed to be more stable and the floor is generally more stable and durable

Can you confirm this?

I can at least confirm that with my acquaintances. But it hasn't been installed there for long, so there are no long-term experiences yet. They even laid the Rigid in the bathroom. We will lay the Rigid in January, once the heat-up program of the heat pump is finished. After that, I can gladly report.

I think we will also opt for rigid vinyl. this is the newest and probably best vinyl how do you see it, should we take the rigid vinyl with integrated impact sound insulation directly or rather lay a separate one underneath?
