If you have not received the bonuses yet, you are most likely out of luck. They filed for insolvency on January 29th.

So you have claims that you can register in the insolvency proceedings.

Advance payments are treated differently.

I correct; already on 25.01.

A suggestion under the table: simply report higher electricity/gas meter readings according to what is still owed and that’s it...

That might work as advance payment for electricity in my case, but only for the credit. With gas, wouldn't I be cutting my own throat there? I wouldn't apply the bonuses there either, would I? These apparently are not offset, but would have to be registered in the insolvency table.

Quote from the Verbraucherzentrale website:

[QUOTE] What happens to my bonus? The bonus was the reason for further consumer complaints about BEV. Consumers report that the provider refuses to pay out promised bonuses, primarily the so-called new customer bonus. It is important to know that BEV offers various bonuses whose payout conditions are not specified in the terms and conditions. The immediate bonus, which is due 60 days after the start of supply, will most likely no longer be paid by BEV. However, it can also be used for offsetting (see above, under credit).

Regarding the new customer bonus, the following should be noted: The conditions of the new customer bonus ("XX% (annual turnover)") are rather vague, which, according to consumer complaints, apparently leads to payout problems. Even after the insolvency application, bonuses should, in our opinion, be taken into account in the final invoice.

If the final invoice including the bonus results in a credit balance for you, this must be registered in the table. If a claim by the company results from BEV’s later final invoice, make sure to check whether your bonus has been taken into account accordingly. [QUOTE]

You can forget the %-bonus anyway, it only applies if you remain a customer there after the 12 months have expired. That has now become irrelevant anyway.
