Exactly, just turn off the bonus in the portals. You get almost the same providers with tariffs that are only slightly more expensive than the bonus tariffs. I haven't agreed to anything with a bonus for a long time. It's too stupid for me.

Yes, I agree. And often the basic supplier also offers very attractive deals. You just have to ask.

Today I received the following response
Thank you for your message.

As you know, BEV Bayerische Energieversorgungsgesellschaft mbH has been in preliminary insolvency proceedings since 29.01.2019. The invoice production is much more complex than expected. This process was unfortunately further complicated and delayed by the bankruptcy of the parent company Genie Holding AG.

We ask for your understanding that we can generally no longer pay out bonus claims (Sofortbonus) to you. If there is a legitimate bonus claim that has not yet been paid to the customer, it will be included and offset in the final invoice. If the final invoice results in an overall claim of the customer against BEV, it constitutes an insolvency claim pursuant to § 38 Insolvenzordnung and must therefore be registered in the insolvency schedule after the commencement of the proceedings.

By preparing the final invoices, we are currently determining whether and to what extent customers have claims against BEV. These claims are insolvency claims pursuant to § 38 Insolvenzordnung and must therefore be registered in the insolvency schedule. Registration of any claims in the insolvency schedule will only be possible after the opening of the proceedings. The opening of the insolvency proceedings is expected to take place in September or October 2019.

The Sofortbonus was mostly paid out to customers and therefore in most cases does not appear as a separate item in the invoice. Please check your documents.
Furthermore, the Sofortbonus only becomes due 60 days after the start of supply.

We kindly ask you to transfer the remaining balance within the payment period to the account specified in the cover letter.

Thank you very much.
Kind regards
Your BEV Customer Service

And what exactly do you have to do to register that?

Do I really have to take action myself to get my money?

We already canceled last August and have been chasing the final invoice ever since.

Yes, just register informally. It's stated there. Just don't expect to get much back. At most 5%.
