I have only read up to page 7, so if this has already been written, sorry in advance:

For us, it was the tenfold for rainwater with a cheap concrete cistern. 2013.

Entrance platform about 1000-1500, 3000 is not enough for paving.

Not enough for that either. Garden landscapers are expensive!

Is the responsibility of your general contractor! After all, they handle the logistics. But I bet no two companies will work in parallel.

Reasonably calculated for an upgrade

A bit high, could somewhat compensate for the low paving edging calculation

Thank you for your comments! I have now distributed the 4000€ sigeko across other items. Mainly added it to the earthworks. I hope that this will also be suitable for the drainage. I had basically only budgeted 500€ for the connection of the rain pipes to the sewage system. I rather considered that the pipes from the sewer to the house would be laid under earthworks, because there is also heavy excavation work involved.

We are also considering undertaking a similar project in NRW with Town & Country and hope that we will approach it with similar discipline.

My question(s): What is necessary for the KfW 55 upgrade? Is this Town & Country’s assessment or have you already talked to an energy consultant?

Hello flitzpiepe (cool name),

The additional amount of €20,000 (it's actually an odd number, but I don't have it in my head) is made up of several elements. I don't know exactly which ones by heart, but among other things, the base slab is insulated and thicker aerated concrete blocks are used.
With the energy consultant, you have no direct contact at Town & Country. Everything goes through the employees of Town & Country. You also don't speak with the architect.

We are currently in the preparation phase for the building application and can therefore say from the first impression that the low price comes about because this "house buying experience," which you have with higher-priced providers, is not present here.

Which license partner do you want to build with?

All clear!

We are not yet sure about the LP. We have appointments next week with Schindler from Velbert and Vest from Marl. Then I will definitely know more.

What was your motivation for KfW 55? Is it noticeably worthwhile in the long term?

I'll chime in. Our renunciation of kfw 55 back then is calculated like this. The additional cost would have been around 16. Plus tax, that's close to 20. Projected savings compared to kfw 70, the basic standard. Water 0, sewage 0, electricity near zero, gas around 100,- p.a. So, now calculate for yourself. That's burning money, that kfw 55 stuff.
