If a few thousand euros are missing and the budget is so tight, one should generally consider whether one can afford to build at all.

I didn't mean to upset you, please forgive me. I based it on myself and usually find concrete figures from other forum members very helpful, even if they cannot always be directly transferred 1 to 1. An approximation is often possible after all. Since you had estimated 200 euros for this, I thought it might relieve you, provided that the fees in your region are not 10 times as high.

A few thousand euros here, a few there, and already 10,000 is gone.

The problem with your way of thinking is precisely that it usually doesn't just stop at the roof tiles but consistently runs through everything: here a few dozen extra sockets, there a masonry double garage instead of carports, the marble tiles instead of porcelain stoneware, and so on. And then the question posed by Joedreck still arises... accept that everyone has their budget and may spend it on what they personally consider important.

You are also projecting your own situation very much. You almost have a forest plot. So it's best to write down why you recommend something. Everyone recommends something different because it made sense in their special case. And then they write "make sure that XYZ is installed." As has often been written here: no wonder that increasingly higher sums per square meter are demanded and everyone thinks it can't be done for less anymore.

We are only talking about the roof. Not about a garage, etc. A well-made roof with good tiles pays off over time because it simply lasts longer.

One could also pitch a tent on the property and stay there. That would be the cheapest.
