I have already looked at a finished house with this roof. Yes, well, spacious is something else, of course, but according to building regulations I am not allowed to convert it into living space anyway. It was important to the architect that the access to the attic comes out at a rather high point of the roof.
Ok. Thanks for the feedback. We also built with GU. however, they accepted all our special requests.
Regarding the garage:
I would move it forward a bit, give the utility room only a narrow window, and instead plan an access to the garage from the utility room.

In my opinion, this only makes sense for a 3m wide garage if you exit through the storage part of the garage. I wouldn’t do it here either, as it would completely block off the utility room.
What else I noticed: The photovoltaic preparation is not aligned between the ground floor and the upper floor. If the shower is to remain on the wall next to the children's room, I would increase the wall thickness somewhat for sound insulation.
Why is another roof not possible? The roof shape doesn’t change; apart from the fact that a truss roof does not bring any cost savings. The changed regulations regarding the wood to be used prevent that ;-)
