Ask one of the usual "I do everything" janitorial services. We had previously agreed with the craftsmen in our building to procure some parts ourselves (stone washbasin, light switch...). It was not a problem. There should be a way.

Well, I also think that there are such all-rounders everywhere who carry out small repairs and much more. Otherwise, where does the average tenant or homeowner call if the mixer tap is defective......

The topic of installing washbasins is critical because you have to drill 4-8 holes per washbasin into the pre-wall installation including tiles. You can triple calculate how high the probability is of causing consequential damages and labor costs due to cracked tiles. Coupled with earning nothing on equity + lousy cash payment due to seemingly little effort etc., you won't find anyone who does this with common sense.

I also did it myself, it wasn't fun despite a diamond drill bit to drill 10 holes in 1 cm fine stoneware. Each hole took 30 minutes and now imagine a tile cracks :-p

But of course he has to be liable. But that would then be a "not wanting" on the part of the craft company, a "not allowed" of the employed craftsman.

Here the "not allowed" is probably justified: the craft company (subcontractor) is prohibited from accepting craft orders alongside the main company. The main company wants to have everything run through their books and thereby A) earn a few percent more because B) they provide the warranty on the house and every problem in the first 5 years.

MyHammer: the businesses and entrepreneurs are busy.

The craftsman must assume the warranty for the washbasin [den der Bauherr gekauft hat], not just for the installation. Of course, it is not forbidden, but why should someone take on this risk?
