Why is _no one allowed_ to install my washbasins?

I could quickly drill 15 shelves into the bathroom wall in the rental building. The landlord will surely be thrilled about that.

Either you ask the journeyman who is finishing the rest of the bathroom at your place if he can do something after work in exchange for a small donation.

Or you give the installation plan to the tiler and ask him if he can drill the tiles accordingly, because that is the most delicate part when water/drain connections are already in place. Hopefully, the [Vorwand] is suitably reinforced so that it also supports the sink? Otherwise, inform the drywall installer beforehand(!). Then you usually hang the washbasin on threaded rods and connect the hoses very carefully (if necessary with a torque wrench). Don’t skimp on installation materials, preferably use original ones.

You’re not seriously recommending illegal work, are you? Really?

Take a leftover piece of double drywall and stick three leftover tile pieces to it. Place it on two bricks and then practice with the drill.

Well, if legal work doesn’t bear fruit even after a lot of research...

Maybe you also have to explain to them that it’s not open-heart surgery. Good grief.....warranty.....If as a craftsman I’m afraid of that (1st year apprentice), then please don’t leave the house and pad everything there. That’s simply ridiculous. Then no one could ever call a craftsman if their faucet drips, which was installed 10 years ago. That doesn’t exist, I’d be ashamed. He installs it and you hand him a slip and that’s it, madness.
Ebay Classifieds, MyHammer, notice board at Hornbach, ask at hardware stores......oh dear
If even one hundredth of that was ever actually claimed under warranty, I could understand it. Just call the same craftsman in 2 years and tell him the faucet is leaking and say the word "warranty" for what HE installed for you. Then I’m curious......
