Gladly :) The accent tiles are placed in the master bathroom and the kids’ bathroom (here we chose a herringbone pattern from the wall tile) on the wall where the washbasin is mounted, from the shelf up to the ceiling. I would have liked to have them in the shower too, but you can’t see the shower in either of our bathrooms when you walk in, so that would have been a waste. For the bathroom furniture, we decided on a white double washbasin from Villeroy and Boch (master bathroom) and a dark blue washbasin from Sanipa in the kids’ bathroom. At first, I also wanted one made of wood (preferably oak), but since I didn’t like the decors at all and found dealing with the carpenter and then losing the warranty from the plumber too annoying, I gave up on that idea. A friend of mine has integrated some wooden elements in freely purchasable furniture (towel cabinets), the shelf for the toothbrush cups, and a wooden board above the bathtub for candles etc., which I also liked very much. Regarding the tile selection: It would have been the same for us, but before the sampling appointment, we had already visited a dealer (AUER, I don’t know if it only exists in our Munich area) and then asked our tiler if he could also order from there. He actually had his own but very small showroom and said that it’s no problem at all because it’s a wholesaler and it doesn’t matter where they order the tiles from. So maybe it’s worth asking again here. What also worked for us, because we were specifically looking for this type of accent tile: ordering sample tiles from catalogs (which was even free for us).

Of course not in the shower (even though there are actually wooden floors for that). Outside, no problem at all - but more (maintenance) effort. And if you want it absolutely perfect, have planks laid like boat planks (with putty).

But that would then mean two different floors again.
