Which downdraft vent? For a new kitchen? Who can recommend something?

I don't have an inset hood and don't want one either, but especially with the Bora Basic I find it annoying that it takes up so much space. I seriously doubt whether my beloved square pan or my biggest pot (10 l) will still fit on the cooktop.

We are getting our downdraft extractor from Neff next week. The big advantage of this appliance is that the grille over the ventilation is a thick cast iron grate. You can easily place a hot pot or pan to the side here if needed. It is also ultra simple to clean.....we are already looking forward to it!

The Bora Basic was neither visually nor functionally impressive. No large pans and pots, no gas. We then decided on the Bora Classic; now I regret that back then we only chose one gas hob. Maybe the induction will be removed again at some point, replaced by a second gas hob. Or a Tepan would also be nice...

We chose Miele after having several demonstrated to us....

We didn't like Bora's look and Miele was relatively quiet and you can also clean it easily if something boils over..... you can take it out and disassemble it

We have a Homeier Downair Mistral. Here you can choose the width of the cooktop, install one of your choice, and you don’t have an extractor in the middle, but on the left and right. That’s what I liked best. Works perfectly, it has so much power that it can suck the spices out of the pan. Cleaning is simple, remove the insert and put it in the dishwasher.
