Personally, I don't like the notch in the middle. It somehow looks tacked on and I would miss the space (flexibility).

We have the Miele with two induction zones. It works perfectly, the ventilation is tolerably loud on levels 1-3 and quite loud on boost, but it also extracts well.

Manual knobs were important to us, as we had bad experiences with touch controls (had AEG, my parents have Miele).

Cleaning is okay, we have the non-flush Miele. The filter can be easily put in the dishwasher.

Bora Professional would have been a bit nicer, but the price difference is significant. The "smaller" Bora models, especially Bora Basic, were not an option for us.

Why was Bora Basic not an option? Besides the possible flush induction (which makes the cooking surface significantly larger than with Miele), the exhaust has more power.

In my opinion, it is also better to clean, because with Miele you can hardly get into the narrow slot to remove the filter, whereas with the Basic you have a large opening.

We have now decided on the Miele. Also, surface induction not just round circles!? Unfortunately, the display is typically 90s Miele yellow. Has anyone heard if Miele wants to change this?
