Which downdraft vent? For a new kitchen? Who can recommend something?

I once put the Oranier KFL 2094 forward here. My cooktop was also installed with the kitchen last week. I haven't really been able to test it yet, but it already makes a very good impression. Even the extraction is still quite quiet at the highest level and has plenty of "power". So I can only advise you to take a look at the cooktop.

Two reasons, firstly the Basic (unlike, for example, the Professional) with its round opening doesn't visually suit us at all. Secondly, we didn't want touch controls.

Therefore, as I said, only the Bora Professional would have been a real alternative – the ribbed rotary knobs are really great.

What you mean by the slot I don't know, I certainly don't have small hands and can easily remove the stainless steel filter as well as clean the slot inside.

Hi, have you been able to try out the cooktop by now and perhaps have an experience report for us? I would be very interested, as we are also planning with Oranier.

Yes, the cooktop is great. Unfortunately, I am not allowed to say more about it because the admin here has already threatened me with a ban.
