Which downdraft vent? For a new kitchen? Who can recommend something?

Short and sweet, the downdraft extractor gets a clear purchase recommendation from me for looks and functionality.

My wife made potato pancakes today and you really couldn’t smell that there were potato pancakes.

The ventilation has 4 levels. 4 is loud, at a distance of 4m if someone is at the stove you can’t have a conversation. But it even pulls away the pepper when sprinkling.

Level 3 is 50% quieter than level 4, but sufficient for normal cooking.

I haven’t tested the rest yet.

Fairy tale hour. A recirculating downdraft extractor by no means manages to eliminate odors or smoke, neither with activated carbon nor with ozone. The place always smells and it smokes.

Only exhaust air helps. What it does very well, however, is absorb grease.

We also have one and with the knowledge of the disadvantages, we are satisfied.

But anyone who cooks a lot and likes to sear sharply should stay away from it.

You're really an idiot. For you, probably only your opinion counts, even if it's not true! Chapeau!

I cannot confirm that. Sure, you can't get 100% gone within 30 seconds. But [Umluft mit Aktivkohle] also works!
