I recently had a huge thread on the topic, in case you want to dig it up. In the end, a 25mm pipe was laid here. Whether it can be replaced afterwards is anyway more than questionable, depending on the bends they have to make in your house. But for us it didn't look that bad in terms of angles as previously assumed. One idea would be to connect the old (damaged) cable with the new one, and then pull the new one in while pulling out the old one. That should possibly work. Actually, nothing should happen to the cables.

Most flush-mounted boxes (the plastic parts under the plaster, into which the actual sockets etc. go, such as those from Kaiser) have an entry for empty conduits/protective conduits of 20 and 25 mm. The electrician shouldn't make such a fuss and just buy a pack of 25 mm empty conduit.

I can only advise you to install every network socket as a double socket.

The electrician should install what you want. I read DN25. Where is the additional cost? 10ct/m?

but also cost significantly more in purchasing... the prices for empty conduits rise almost exponentially in wholesale with the DM. I can definitely imagine one or the other discussion with the electrician if this is not clarified beforehand.

I always individually assess how the cable fits through the conduit....
