95% of the time you only need one network connection at that spot...
The exception is the smart TV and the game console. For 10€, you can also put an 8-port gigabit switch in the lowboard and directly connect the Sonos system, etc., instead of having the electrician install a 4-gang strip of network sockets...
Computer, 1x network
Smart TV, 1x network
Home server, 1x network (it really belongs in the network cabinet anyway...)
Access point, 1x network
Cameras, 1x network each
Laptop 98% of the time via Wi-Fi. If large amounts of data ever need to be transferred, 1x network socket that can be found anywhere in the house...
Or am I forgetting something important?!
