However, there are only few break-ins through windows. Triple glazing is not easy to break through.

Wonder what the last 3 pages have to do with the topic... @Topic: Have all interior walls built with 17.5 cm MW, pay much more attention to the issue of soundproofing. Hire a lighting planner and involve them early on.

During the construction phase, someone tried to break in twice at our place. Both times they failed. First at the front door and then tried to pry open the windows or something (they weren’t very smart) and two days later tried to smash the window pane. Didn’t work either.

We have RC2 and P4A glazing.

Still, an alarm system will be installed soon via KNX. If they do get in anyway and everything triggers plus the alarm, then they grab whatever they can reach and take off.

We sleep well with that. [emoji4]

The question from the OP has potential for interesting suggestions, too bad it turns into another "who has the biggest" contest again.

On the topic of us, we had a chimney installed but no fireplace with it....we'll do that later....doing it later = nonsense = we'll do it in 15 years. Meaning, in the next house everything inside and outside is finished.

Free feedback from me: Comments aimed at belittling others mainly make the commentator look bad.

Great comment.

The same applies especially to the exterior area, which is estimated at only 5k€ or when you plan too much DIY work. Although this is fictional from my side now, unfortunately it happens very often.
