The following things come to mind spontaneously that I would do differently next time: - think about connecting the (user) cellar to the controlled residential ventilation (better room climate) - plan the garden right at the beginning: we had to have soil delivered again because too much excavation was removed - plan more power outlets and especially plan more precisely which device should be placed where

What I just thought of: for the next house, I would probably award the contracts myself.

I would also give myself more planning time.

Joking aside, I would take pictures (which I did), but from every corner both before and after each trade.

During and after construction, there are scratches, dents, and stains on windows, doors, plaster... Of course, none of that was anyone's fault.
