Utility room on the upper floor - problems with noise?

We deliberately planned our utility room on the upper floor, in this case directly next to the bedroom.
The washing machine and dryer run without causing much noise or disturbance.
Of course, one should try to avoid spinning cycles during night and sleeping hours as much as possible, which I occasionally try to make my wife understand ;), but otherwise!?
In the technical room on the ground floor, we still prudently planned the appropriate space with a drain, etc., in case we didn’t like having the machines on the upper floor, but so far that has not been the case. We are very satisfied with it so far.

Instead of the optional machine spaces on the ground floor, there is a small kitchenette with a sink, etc., which is at least just as practical :)

We have about 8 sqm of technology which is accessible through the bathroom. Bathroom to laundry washing 3m walking distance. It doesn't get any better. Our technology is district heating, therefore very space-saving. The technology gets damp and warm. Therefore, insulate pipes and exhaust air if [Controlled Residential Ventilation].

How big is your pantry under the stairs? Do you have a half-landing staircase? We are also planning a pantry under the stairs, but I still can't quite imagine how much you can actually fit in there.

We also have one under the stairs. Of course, it's not a miracle of space, but for the "essentials" within easy reach, it's definitely not bad.

Here are some pictures. It was done with drywall construction.

Should be about 2 square meters.

Is the space between the stairs and the [Abkofferung] difficult to clean?
