10 x a truck crane? Hopefully that's included in your price. The road closure is still cheap there. Have you already spoken to the responsible authority? We had to specify exact days when it had to be closed. Whether that was because it is a main road and a state road or if that's always the case, no idea. Nothing was closed for delivery traffic. Then the building material supplier just stood there and unloaded with his truck crane.

With us, there was no room for discretion - the regulatory office informed us in writing how to sign and regulate.

I’m bringing the thread back up due to current events. Our [GU] told me that our street will have to be completely closed for 2-3 days because it is too narrow for a one-sided closure. So far, no precise information about the costs has been given to me. Can I inquire about these in advance at the [Amt für Straßen und Verkehr]? Our property is located on the street and is surrounded by 2 other streets, so in my opinion, a detour is very easily possible through appropriate signage. There is no traffic light system. In further online research, I have now read from some that the [GU] charges well for the application for the closures, even though it is supposed to be quite simple (I will ask about this at the next appointment with the [GU]). Have you submitted the application yourself and received information about the costs in advance?

The GU has commissioned a traffic safety company to submit the application and carry out the safety measures with a traffic light - one-sided closure of Hauptstraße. That was good. If anything shifts, the application must be submitted again. It is then bad luck for the GU if he submits the application. Whether detour or closure is decided by the authority.

We had the same challenge. We were able to find a way to set up a crane on the property. Preparing the area for it was quite expensive, but having the crane on site was financially and above all logistically worth it, since deliveries did not have to be precisely coordinated. Maybe with a bit of creativity something can work for you too – of course, all properties are different.

The crane almost got damaged, but not the trucks with the walls.
with us, it cost 1200 euros, I think.
