Thank you very much for the many answers and suggestions. We have already discussed the bathtub internally but have come to the conclusion that we do not want one. However, we will gladly revisit this. The problem is that we learned today that for fire protection reasons, we cannot have windows on the side facing the garage. If we now include the part of the hallway in the bathroom, the hallway will be completely without natural light since the window in the stairwell, which we can no longer have, is missing. Do you have any ideas on how this could be solved differently? The information on the questionnaire is correct and is reflected in the development plan.

Thank you very much Escroda, that looks really cool. Which program did you use to make it? How do you arrive at the 2m distance from the street, doesn't it have to be 2.50m? We also realized that we either have to widen the garage or the house. The garage would then no longer be a standard size and would probably cost more accordingly. Does anyone happen to know if you can build a carport instead of a garage? Is that considered garage-like according to the building regulations if there is a wall at the back and a completely normal gate at the front? I look forward to your answers.

I have the impression that at the place I linked to in post #2, the problem of a standard garage fitting into the building line (esp. after measuring by the contractor) was also discussed.

I would choose a skylight. No light comes to the stairs through the small window on the street side.

Since the development plan is to scale, you can measure that.

No, why?

Yes.

Yes.
§2, paragraph 8, Landesbauordnung
Garages are buildings or parts of buildings for parking motor vehicles.
Now someone else might have a different opinion, since the development plan uses the term carport in contrast to the Landesbauordnung and garage regulations. But that surely won't be the deciding factor whether you take the plot.

Roof hatch/skylight. Creates sensational light.
