I would be interested in the carport provider Jaydee.

Thank you very much for the kind responses, I appreciate every private message with a provider recommendation! Given the apparently smaller price differences than initially assumed, I will decide on a garage after all! Unfortunately, none of my desired floor plans include an attached garage. Usually, the guest WC window is always in the way. Can you also send me your floor plans? Am I correct in understanding that I only need to plan the door and windows for now and can retrofit the garage later on? Or should I submit the building application completely right away?

Well, you always need a window in the utility room. Have you installed terrace doors with locking cylinders if you have a carport? Are there also visually appealing fire doors? In case you don't build a garage right away and want to keep the option open?

Hi!

There are doors with windows. We are installing one like that, which also has a lock cylinder. However, the exact model is not yet determined.

I think you should maybe discuss your wishes with a capable architect. To me, your needs do not seem that extraordinary.

Best regards, torsan

Meal time!

I'm jumping in here..
We also want to build a double garage with a storage room (6x9 m), preferably with a gable roof (22°).
However, the storage room should be next to the garage and not behind it (see photo below).
The difficulty is that the garage should be on the left side of the property and rotated 90° to the house.
In front of the house is an elongated canopy (extension of the ground floor ceiling).

So far, I have 3 prices:
Hansebeton €22,000 including all the bells and whistles, only with a flat roof and a certain height.
Garagenklaus €28,000, with a flat roof.
Masonry garage €32,000 from the builder.

The problem with prefabricated garages is that we would like to reach the same height as the canopy, which is somewhere around 2.71 (UK).
Do you have any insider tips?

Best regards

What about the access road to the garage? Doesn't it have to be approved by the neighbors if it is built on the boundary?
