I don't understand this: when I look at the site plan, the garage and parking space are at the top of the plan and thus (since site plans are usually correctly oriented with north at the top) in the north. If I now rotate your plan so that the garage and parking space are located there, the entrance door is on the left side of the plan and thus in the west. Are you allowed to position the garage and parking space elsewhere, or did I overlook that? It would be helpful if all plans were oriented with north at the top. Am I seeing this correctly that your plan would have to be rotated 180° to match the site plan?

The 80cm is already clear. But at 40cm height, there will surely be a windowsill. If a child climbs up there, the fall protection is no longer guaranteed. As far as I know, a half-height railing is a gray area, but I have read about building authorities that considered such low railings climbable and demanded the 80cm from there.

Besides the legal aspect, this would be generally too much risk for me.

I think so .. it was also my request. It's generally a problem that the TEs just post things here without anyone considering how much easier it would be if everything were aligned identically and marked with a north arrow ;) ;).

So that's how it should be! :)

What you say is true. In fact, we are currently discussing this point again. Thanks for the good input.

Dear people, maybe it's because the available material is being used and it is not always possible to prepare everything so that thread readers are spared from reading it.

Next to the drawings, I mentioned above that the entrance faces north and the terrace faces south. The entrance is oriented towards the main road contrary to the circled house. The terrace runs in an L-shape along the south side up to the kitchen on the west side. The garage is located on the east side.
But this has also been seen, read, recognized, and/or constructively used by other users.

Of course, I want something from you; in my opinion, starting a general discussion with sweeping statements here is rather destructive and not very inspiring for others.

No, in the west...

You really expect too much. Be glad you have such a meter for free. It's good as a storage space or a hedge... something nice or to hide something ugly.

I don't understand.

Now you have a mega cross in every window. That’s not nice. Double-leaf plus horizontally positioned transom window doesn't fit.

No, it is not a site plan but a sales plan with examples of how the houses could be placed. It’s like decoration: sales-promoting.

I actually find this here unproblematic – already because of the usable area ;)
But the north arrow is missing, yeah yeah

You would need to know the development plan for that. After all, your garage is also located outside the building window. The strip would have to be designated as private green space if the garage is to be excluded here. Or it is not permissible where you have currently planned it.
