Regarding height / roof it only says: The eaves height on the valley side is to be implemented with a maximum height of 6.65m Roof pitch 30-40 degrees gable roof. Some neighbors have a hip roof, so a deviation will certainly be accepted here. The roof overhang at the eaves is to be executed with a maximum of 1.2m At the village edge the roof overhang is to be executed with a maximum of 1.4m Thanks for your input. We have drawn some floor plans for the split level house and have already noticed that this is significantly more difficult, as per floor only about half of the floor area is available. Often here there is too much length/width for one room and too little for two rooms.

It is nowhere stated that the division of the split level must be 50/50. However, there are reasons why it is rather unpopular with many planners (myself included - on the other hand, it also has "fans" like ). One of these reasons is that it tends to lead strongly to a staggered shed roof.

With 3 levels each 5*11.4m, you get about 130m2 of living space. That’s doable. The architect will make that look good for you.

A split level is - I think - better suited to this plot than you think. Especially with only a 10% slope of the plot. However, you must not think of the classic 2-story form, but rather more staggered. This means the structural effort is also more extensive. You use more exterior walls for support... you have to think a bit more generously. However, there are also many terraced houses in SL - whether one finds them practical and wants to replicate them, I do not even want to discuss. However, I admit: an SL does not live from stingy living space. If you have to be thrifty with it due to cost, I advise against SL. It would roughly fit like this here. The floor plan is rather slapped together - I just wanted to show the staggered levels. My program cannot do this, or rather it is a huge effort to play with multiple ceiling heights on one level. My tip: forget it, unless you want to sink a million. 10% slope is always quite manageable. Basically, you can fill out the questionnaire for the floor plan discussion if you are thinking about it or have an architect’s plan.

Here are the sketches of the floor plans of the SL. Below are living, dining, cooking, entrance level bedroom, etc. Above the WEK then the children's level. That should be about 130 m2 living space with an 11.4 * 10m building volume. Alternatives are available on the 4th level. I see fewer problems statically. Rather the extra effort due to the concreting sections.

As already said, there are certainly very good designs here without SL.

I would then swap garage and house and place the driveway on the north side. That way a better southwest garden remains.
