Then look at the development plan and set this here. A higher knee wall does not necessarily change the ridge height if the roof pitch becomes shallower. However, there are different restrictions or requirements...

I have already included everything from the development plan. We have no requirements regarding the ridge height, etc. But as I said, as we understand it, the prescribed 1.5-storey can become a problem. We will probably have to talk to the builder a few more times.

I'm not an expert in the field but setback distance sounds illogical. More likely the definition of the 1.5 stories. To my knowledge, it varies from state to state. There is something like everything over 2.3 m ceiling height is counted and may be a maximum of 75% of the ground floor area...

We have a 130 cm knee wall with a roof pitch under 30 degrees. It is not a two-story building. Draw the section for yourself with a set square on graph paper.

And yes, the higher it is, the more distance area. But this should not matter for a "1.5"-story building.

You will gain a great added value in quality of life in the attic!

Then I’ll ask the question again differently: how much different would the floor plan have looked if ONLY your wishes had been implemented WITHOUT building on a draft design; or rather, how well do you still recognize your wishes in it?

That is called a causal connection
The 3m is not a fixed divine measurement, but can certainly increase if 1/2H is more than 3m (which I do not expect here though). More likely applicable here is the full storey trap – which can be mitigated by not fully exploiting the 45° roof pitch.

If I add an unusual 18 cm floor construction today, there are still 69 cm left (and with 45° easy to calculate 31 cm front wall, until you “fill” 1m kneewall on the inside).

I understand (setback areas) but in this case I can't imagine it... you can hardly have that much knee wall
