I'm missing the experience values there. We have drywall on the upper floor.

Again about this wall story between the bedroom and the children's room: Is that really common? Or more meant as a joke?

What do you mean now? Better soundproofing? If you don’t mind your child hearing your snoring at night, then take a standard wall. If one of you is a light sleeper and doesn’t want nighttime announcements from "over there," then take a thicker wall. Everyone has to decide for themselves what extra costs they want to incur. Some also like to plan a connecting balcony between child and parents.

No, this is not a joke. If you have a choice, you are reluctant to plan children's rooms next to the bedroom for that reason.

A proper "outer wall" between the rooms is exaggerated, but paying attention to soundproofing during planning is not. However, unless you work in shifts, the saxophone practice hours of the youngsters and the parents' sleeping times probably do not overlap

Hello,
yesterday we had another consultation with a kitchen planner and while choosing the sink, the question came up whether we had planned a "warm water circulation," meaning that warm water is available immediately when the tap is opened, without waiting time.
In conversations with the construction company, this was never a topic and we were not aware that something like this exists nowadays. So it has not been planned so far.

Question, before we address this with the construction company: What do you think about it? The kitchen planner briefly mentioned the advantages (more comfort, less water consumption). However, we cannot assess what additional costs this would mean, and whether it makes sense with our floor plan. The utility room is indeed located rather in the completely opposite corner from the kitchen. At least the two bathrooms are directly on top of each other.
