Hello Torsan,
I just have a little time and feel like it
I find the choice of the staircase unfortunate. A straight staircase looks – from my subjective view, "only" good with a rather square floor plan; it can be appropriately "staged." In your construction project, however, it severely limits your options for room layout...
1. I would prefer the kitchen in the bottom right, so in the southeast. However, I fear that the room will be too small because of the wardrobe. We are thinking of installing a sliding door as a separation.
Why "must" a kitchen always be in the south? Can you all handle the heat so well; I actually see it similarly for bedrooms.
I would leave the kitchen in this floor plan where it is. Even if you don’t need a dining area in the kitchen, the separation of the cooking area has undeniable advantages. Besides, with the current location, you have benefits regarding traffic routes.
3. Is the separation between the heating system and the utility room sensible? Unfortunately, I have no idea how large a heating system (air heat pump) is and whether the wall between the rooms is a good idea.
If at all, I would install a separating wall (system) and forgo a second door; whether a separation makes sense at all depends on the heat generator and its sizing. But – think it through, mentally, when you want to store supplies through the front house door. Opening a second door inside is not what I would consider a short path.
4. Bathroom: This is the only thing on the upper floor that immediately catches my eye. What do you think, is it doable with the sloping roof or does the slope annoy?
That "can" become unfortunate. I simply removed the storage "box"? and instead put the shower in that corner; it should correspond with the wastewater pipes of the ground floor. Then swapped the bathtub with the double washbasin; surely more pleasant for the morning beauty routine and the bathtub shouldn’t be noticeably affected by the knee wall. Beautiful shelves/cabinets on the right and left beside the tub and it will already look much better
But – honestly? I would start again with a blank sheet of paper...
Rhenish greetings
