Oki doki! After the floor plan revealed various weaknesses, we will start over again.

But I must admit that I am a bit frustrated. But better to start again now than to be dissatisfied later. As a layperson, it is really difficult to tackle and evaluate "foreign topics."

Thanks again to everyone, torsan

Hello Torsan,
in principle, much has already been said, so I will not go into it further.
I would be interested to know who created this floor plan. Did you hire a (real) architect?
Then why were your wishes, which are not exactly complicated, not taken into account?
Why are some measurements and the 2-meter line on the upper floor missing? For example, the living room seems very narrow to me, and the room proportions seem distorted (large kitchen, narrow living room, leftover room corner).

With a 125 knee wall height, I am surprised by the position of the bathroom window... it probably won’t fit in the gable if it is to be a normal height and would have to be omitted...

By the way, I can understand if you don’t want the entrance area at the back of the house (entrance is invitation is anteroom and should, if possible, be visible from the street), also a window to the street or courtyard would always be a favorite for me.

Hi!

We sat down again with our architect and started from scratch. The result is a floor plan that my wife and I like and that will be implemented, meaning built.

It will not be posted because I would have a hard time dealing with anyone here coming up with good ideas for changes that can no longer be implemented.
And yes, I am very, very sure that good ideas will come here!

Cheers, tosan

Too bad, I would have been interested, but it is quite understandable. Wishing you much success!
