If you have a hillside property - please, please don't go and fill it up. Sell it to people who can/want to do something with the slope. Just buy a flat plot. It's such a shame when a standard slab-on-ground house is slapped onto a beautiful hillside, and even worse with a standard floor plan...

This is not about a property with a magical distant view, but about a classic 450 sqm new development plot, and this one simply has a 1.5m incline within the building area. Whether a cookie-cutter house is built there or an architectural piece for enthusiasts should be our concern, because we live in it and enjoy it, and you’re welcome to be annoyed if you have to look at something like that. By the way, there were no level plots here.

I have already understood that we were on the wrong track with the granny flat. However, it was planned in our now obviously naive calculation. In this respect, our original budget is reduced and we have to see what is even feasible on our plot of land. At the end of the day, it will just be a caravan park with several caravans.

There is always a bit of frustration when building. You know, what starts off difficult gets better in the end. ;)

So the 550K isn't accurate anymore?

I don't understand anything – can you shed some light on this for me? In your development plan, the floor area ratio is 0.4, but I don't see anything about the gross floor area?

I guess "no", because the rental income was calculated based on that.
