That’s clear, I’m trying too..... Maybe you are all experienced builders, I am a total beginner. Sorry that I didn’t provide perfect and complete information. But that’s what this forum is for, to have an exchange, isn’t it?

If I knew what I preferred, I wouldn’t have written here. I find it nicer to look north (because of the view) and not into other houses.... but I am also a sun person. We used to have a big terrace with a garden in the west, no shading, and that was very bad in summer although I love the sun.

With my post I just wanted to ask about your experiences, how you did it, whether you are satisfied with it or if you would have done it differently in hindsight.
