Single-family house floor plan - where to put the mudroom?

What I have taken are the dimensions of the entire house (total length/width) as well as the garage and the carport; nothing more is drawn in the draft. With the help of these dimensions, I could theoretically calculate the other measurements - but it did not work.

I find it disturbing that you can find extremely many construction drawings here, which I am sure customers have been informed about copyright and that these drawings may not be passed on to third parties. Out of respect for the creator/service provider/money earner, I simply did not want to follow this practice.

That is a pity if such important things are not included. My amazement remains as to how you can still be sure that the result of your check calculation deviates with unknown basics (?) I myself fundamentally do not spread images without my own rights and am surprised at how casually others "retweet" images from the internet. By the way, copyright on a plan refers to it as a whole, so that "copying it yourself" DOES NOT change anything. I still assume that most judges weigh the need for advice of those wishing to build (also in real life, in the 21st century, involving strangers over the internet in this consultation) higher than the "privacy" of the author of a house plan. In your specific case, the floor plans are moreover "modified 08/15 at its best," i.e. a high need for advice on your part regarding the success of the modification combined with a hardly surpassable low level of creativity of the floor plans. In such cases, the most elegant solution is usually to give the other discussants a reference to the used basic model "Meierbau Hexenhäuschen Typ Hinzundkunz 125" and to explain in writing "in the ground floor we squeeze in a pantry and in the upper floor a dressing room and an additional storage room, which results in a botched slanted wall in the upper floor" (although with that you have basically already answered the question about the wisdom of the modification yourself). That is why I always say: keep away from increasing complexity in catalog floor plans! (as these are regularly designed without add-ons). By the way, it does not matter whether it is a catalog or drawer floor plan known by both sides, or whether the general contractor sells it as an alleged individual plan.

Thank you very much for your explanations. Maybe I will still get some general tips here in the thread on how to integrate a mudroom into a floor plan; for general ideas, the exact measurements are not really relevant. It disappoints me somewhat how annoyed the tone is in general when a newcomer is "welcomed" in internet forums. I am very willing to provide any missing information that I have not yet provided in my very first opened thread (!). But when instead of a "it is difficult to assess this without xy, could you please tell us more about xy?" answers like "how are we supposed to..????" "should we perhaps...???" come, it is a bit difficult for me. Answers like "that's why I always say xy" unfortunately do little to help me either, since I have not been following every thread on the topics written so far for years.

You will have to get used to the somewhat rougher tone when it comes to everything related to construction.

In general, you should come with as much information as possible about your project and not waste a single thought on whether it is really necessary, because as a layperson you are usually wrong about that. So of course all preferences, must-haves and nice-to-haves as well as other circumstances, number of children, planning to have children, etc. Basically the entire questionnaire (it seems to me you started it but then didn't feel like continuing to fill it out). Then importantly: site plans with a large section. (textual) indication of the Bebauungsplan (as said, links forbidden), materials, documents, photos and sketches. Also plans of the outdoor facilities as well as the neighboring buildings are important because dependencies can be derived from them that cannot be recognized with an untrained eye.

You can reinterpret the annoyed undertone in your perception as a desire to help you at all costs. Otherwise you won't be happy here.

First of all: I do not know of any copyrights for standard floor plans that concern every second house. It may be that the general contractor decorates his stamp with copyrights pro forma, but this floor plan, even less so the dimensions, are worthy of it.

I refer again to the post
https://www.hausbau-forum.de/threads/grundriss-planung-unbedingt-vor-beitrag-erstellung-lesen.11714/
and the fact that, as the questioner, you can present your house building project very focused in one post, while respondents have to deal daily with several (incomplete) posts.

I am known for any willingness, but unfortunately I lack the time.

I see it like ... and, you also have to imagine, already for

it is actually important what is going on or has to be going on in the other rooms. That is why it is always very practical when planned furniture layouts are drawn in. Because generally "where a mudroom," you can simply use Google image search and get examples.

For example, the almost square house caught my attention, without a site plan and building boundary regulations, but you can't make good suggestions for other shapes and layouts.

Because the floor plan should suit you afterwards and not random general users. Overall, this is also the task of an architect to lead the individual needs to a good floor plan.
