We also don't have a basement. Beverage crates are in the storage room, no need for a chest freezer, we have a large side-by-side refrigerator, the freezer side is completely sufficient for us.

P.S., even without knowing the dimensions, I can't imagine how a chest freezer could fit - comfortably - into this pantry, and that brings us back to the issue that aptly described.

I sat down yesterday and tried to calculate the individual dimensions - but I fear that the design is distorted, as the room sizes do not match at the front and back according to my calculations. I am now drawing a floor plan myself - based on the design - that makes more sense to me (then to scale and with measurements), will incorporate your ideas into it right away, and would then ask you about it again.

Or freezer, preferably integrated into a tall cabinet wall in the kitchen. That's how we have it. Unfortunately, the one from Ikea is relatively loud. But it has space, we still haven't managed to fill it up.

The individual dimensions belong in the plan and should be approximately measurable from it as well.

I agree with you that they belong there - but they are not :-)

Strange - I remember it differently:

You’re welcome to explain in more detail: 1. how can a plan that doesn’t even specify room dimensions yet be sensitive regarding the level of creativity, and 2. how do you then come to the impression of distorted dimensions when redrawing?
